As a Little Rock studio maternity photographer, it’s an honor to be trusted with the beginnings of a family story. It’s been almost a year since this beautiful two-part maternity session, and I’m overdue to share the start of the story for baby Bauer! Working with these two(three?) was an absolute dream. They opted for both indoor and outdoor images, and I’m so glad they did. We experimented with flash and film and posing, and their willingness to try new things led to one of my favorite sessions of the entire year. Their gentleness with each other and easy transitions from serious to smiles & laughter underscored what a deep love they share.

This session, I experimented with different film stocks. I tried out Fuji 400h and Portra 400, and even some Portra 800 as well. All were developed beautifully by Photovision, my absolute favorite film development lab. I can always depend on scan day to bring the magic! The final gallery consists of a mix of digital and film images.
