I was lucky enough to fly out to California last November to study under Brooke Schultz, a renowned family film photographer. I met the most amazing women (and still keep in touch!), enjoyed the best weather (San Diego I love you), and worked with five joy-filled families. It was exhilarating. It was exhausting. It was growth and questions and experimenting and failing and succeeding wildly. I’m so thankful for how it’s shaped my love for telling your families’ stories. Here are some of my favorite images from our first magical family shoot. A big thank you to the legendary Brooke Schultz (www.brookeschultzphotography.com) for recruiting this amazing family.
Film images shot with Portra 400 on my Pentax 645nii. Film scanned by Photovision Prints.
