This session was an adventure right from the get-go! For years I’ve been shooting newborn sessions in those first couple weeks after birth, but Covid + a cross-country move for this family had us taking sweet baby Miles’s images at four months. And what a fun stage that was! He was wide awake for the entire time and gave me all the expressions, but still let me swaddle him up, too.

I love the variety of images we were able to capture by splitting our session between indoor and outdoor time! Those beautiful summer greens and film-like skintones had us swooning. And after the heat drove us inside, I captured some of the most precious moments as the brothers played with each other. Truly, one of the reasons I love my work so much is that I get to make images that families will love for a lifetime. The siblings playing, the laughter, the smiles, and all the tiny little details you’ll always want to remember. These are the things we cherish and hold onto!

These two are so blessed to have a Mom and Dad who raise them joyfully and with such sacrificial love. I can’t wait to watch as these active little boys grow up and into their own!
