It’s just one less thing for you to stress about, because family photo sessions should be simple and enjoyable. Since I’m always looking to add pieces to my client closet, here are some springtime looks I’m loving for Moms these days!
- Beachwood Baby – The Deia Dress in Blush is perfect for those springtime sessions when a solid color would complement a floral/garden setting. And Beachwood Baby makes the most comfortable, gorgeous linen dresses. Just check out this session where Mom wore a different style!
2. Worth Collective – The Haven dress has just the right small floral print that perfectly ushers in springtime vibes. Plus, at under $100 and bump-friendly, it’s a versatile choice that won’t break the bank!
3. Doen – The Ischia in Painted Bouquet is one of those that I think looks great on every person. It’s got that cottage-core romantic flair and is sustainably made. I love it so much that I bought a slightly different style you can find in my client closet, seen in this session!
4. Reformation – The Naira Dress in Golden Meadow has such a warm and sunny look, perfect for spring! It reminds me of the dress this beautiful mama wore for her in-home family session (images following the dress link) and how lovely yellows are on Portra 400 film.
5. Hill House – the Scarlett Nap Dress in White Shadow Stripe is a classic. The short sleeve cut and white feminine details feels perfect for a motherhood-focused springtime outdoor session. I could see this paired with some vibrant jewelry and kids dressed in small patterns.
As a final note, I love dresses that are long and flowy. They’re easy to chase kids in (and you’re never worried about dresses hiking up while sitting) and the movement translates beautifully through the camera!
