In Arkansas, we usually get a couple snows a year. It shuts everything down for a couple days and no one ventures out unless absolutely necessary. Snow maternity sessions aren’t usually on my radar. This fall, I was feeling a little sad that I’d be pregnant during the brown, dead winter season. Jealous of those vibrant summery greens and springtime blooms, I figured I’d have no ethereal outdoor maternity photos this pregnancy. And then this perfect little winter storm provided me with just the excuse to step outside (just in the front yard!) and snap these images with the help of my sweet husband. The snow was coming down in chunks, the temps were not crazy cold, and these photos were taken by my favorite person in the world of our growing baby boy and this wonderful body God made to do miraculous things. I will cherish them forever.
