When Shelbie contacted me about photographing an outdoor motherhood session of her with her three boys, I was incredibly honored. You see, Shelbie is an exceptionally talented photographer, and is the one responsible for the amazing images of my own family last fall. In addition to that, she is also one of the kindest encouragers around. She is the co-founder of LaPeche Journal, an online space filled with inspiration and community for mothers. Watching her with her three energy-filled boys was a joy. The way that she loves them so well and supports their curiosity attests to her adventurous spirit. These boys sure are lucky.
